Hey everyone! Today I am here to share a very springy card, my son can not wait for the snow to melt so he can splash in the puddles. This image is Make a Splash from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. I coloured her up with my copic markers, and enhanced that with my Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils.

I am still on that use up my paper kick, it is slowly, very slowly, happening. A doily cut from my cameo, Wild Orchid Crafts flower, berries from my stash and some lace finish off the front of this card. the inside I layered some lace and some bling trim for a stopper for my easel card.

I am still on my use up old stuff thing here, you know so I can justify buying more lol, so I used up a ton of my scrap papers on this card. I didn’t have trim to match the colours I used on the image so I used some sprays on a piece of fabric then layered some sari silk on it box pleated it then added pearls on top. I used up some of my Dusty Attic Chipboard and some cheese cloth. A few flowers finished off this card.

Odd Family

ODD Family

Hey everyone! Today I just have a quick post for you all. Some Odd Girl is having their 6th Birthday party this week over on Facebook, and as part of it Kristy released the Odd Family Portrait. I figured sense she took the time to draw 7 characters into one image I would take the time and colour it!

It is roughly 3 3/4, x 5 3/4, and was coloured with my copic markers the wood style background I added myself after and I know its not super realistic or detailed but I didn’t want it to take away from the image itself. I did not keep track of all the colours I used for this one because it was a ton but I had to share this one with you all hope you like it!

Pirate

ARF Pirate 1

Hey everyone, when I was in the studio yesterday making cards, I was digging through my pile of coloured images that hadn’t yet been put onto a card and ran into this gem. He jumped out at me because the other day I ran accross the pirate paper scraps in my scrap paper drawers (yes I am still on the try and use up some of my paper kick) and I think they were a perfect match. The image is Pirate Adventure from A Random Fan, and was coloured up with copic markers.

Unfortunately because of how long ago I coloured this it was before I was keeping track of all of my colours. And if you look at my other work you can see how far my colouring has come, even from this, BUT that doesn’t mean I don’t love this little image and he still deserved to be on a card. Remember, the more you colour the better you get!
