New Watercolors! Stoneground Paint Co.

Hey everyone! Today I am sharing a new palette, 8 new watercolours. From Stoneground Paint Co.

It is a gorgeous, flourescent palette! I am over the moon with these new neon colours! Yes they will not be lightfast, like the traditional colours. But these are super fun for making cards, sketch books, art work that is getting scanned in.

They also look super pretty on the black watercolour paper! So bright and vivid even with their transparency you can see them!

I do have a video sharing all these colours. Remember the photos do take some of the vividness of these paints away! But I am over the moon with these!

You will be able to pick these paints up over at Stoneground Paint Co. website at some point today!

Technique Junkies June Release

Hey everyone! Welcome back to another new release showcase for Technique Junkies

Sometimes you run into these stamps that you just have to colour, that is what happened with me and the new Nautical Doodles from Technique Junkies.

So I pulled out some of my watercolours and went to work filling this in. The fun in colouring this stamp was that I didn’t need to spend time on shading, everything is just one layer of colour on it. I personally love the way it came out!

Make sure you jump around and see what the rest of the team has created for this fun release!

Comfort & Prayers

Hey everyone! Today I have a super sweet little card to share with you all.

Debby Hughes is one of my favorite card makers, in a long list of people I adore. But she often makes a card that gets to me to buy a stamp set. That is what happened here. I bought the Comfort & Prayers stamp set because of a card she made, so here is my version of her card.

Now I need to make another one using this set that my own brain comes up with.

But for this one I stamped out the butterflies and pulled out my Stoneground Paint Co. watercolours to paint up these vintage butterflies. It took me about 2 hours but I love sitting and watercolouring pretty cards, so I find the process super relaxing.

You can find all the supplies I used on this card linked below!

Beautiful Flowers

Hey all, today I have a pretty flower card to play along with Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. The theme this week is No Designer Paper. Which, thankfully is pretty easy for me, I do not use a lot of patterned paper anyway.

I filmed a process video of this card. I had 2 hours and 45 minutes of footage so this video is a longer one for me. As per usual I painted in tons of layers. and am super happy with how this one turned out.

The video will be here as soon as it finishes uploading!

Birthday Cake

Today I am playing along with My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge. I simplified this weeks sketch but am in love with what I came up with.

I do not often make cards without any stamped images filled with colouring. But when this die was release I needed it in my life, I love how this one turned out slightly wonkey and pretty pinks and yellow made me so happy creating this one!

I also have a super fun video of this one for you!

C.C. Designs – April Preview Day 1

Hey all! Welcome to Day 1 of previews for the C.C. Designs April release! We are kicking things off with this adorable set called Bears.

I coloured up these cute little bears with my copic markers, then I created the background with some of my Stoneground watercolors.

Aren’t these little bears the absolute sweetest. I had a blast colouring them up!

Hugs,
Jessie

It’s Mice Time to Celebrate

Hey everyone! Today I am again playing along with My Favorite Things Card Challenges.

I pulled out the new It’s Mice Time to Celebrate set for this fun card. Hand drawing the balloon I stamped the mouse in Tea Dye Distress Ink. Then pulled out my Stoneground Paints and created a fun little scene into the balloon.

This sketch was super fun! I would have never thought of painting a simple little scene in a balloon without it. I can’t wait for the next one!
