Stronger Together

Hey friends! Today I have a clean and simple card to share with you. Using Alcohol inks and my copics, both of which I have been neglecting!

I started off by creating the background panel with my alcohol inks, using some pinks. Which helped me choose the yellow flowers of the copic coloured image to contrast off of that pink background!

I did a primarily black sentiment as I wanted it to pop out from all the colour and white space that is on the front of this card. I haven’t done a clean and simple card like this in quite some time!

I do have a process video of this one to share with you all!

Hey friends! I am excited to be participating in another Altenew Blog Hop. This month they are releasing the Paint-a-flower Camellia!

I went outside of my normal warm toned colours while painting this one up. The purples in the Altenew 36 halfpan watercolour set are magnificent, and the blues are wonderful. I really just love all the colours to be honest. But i painted this one up in a no lines style, keeping the colours soft and dreamy really made me fall in love with this image!

Cat-astrophe

Hey friends! Today I am again playing along with MFT Sketch Challenge for the week!

I started off by pulling out the Cat-astrophe stamp set, creating a rainbow striped background some cut out stars.

I love how the sketch challenges really push me out of my comfort zone, dies and coloured cardstock have not been part of my regular crafting lately and it fun to bring them back. I hope to keep pushing myself!

I did get this one filmed and edited for you all this one on time! I hope you enjoy seeing my process!

Seaside Seagulls

Hey friends! Today I decided to play along with MFT Sketch Challenge, this use to be one of my favorite things to do every week, I am hoping to play along regularly again.

This is the sketch from this week, it was a sweet one to play along with. I took the little flag banner off and then added the sentiment to one of the rectangle planners.

I started by colouring up the seagulls and clouds from the Seaside Seagull set. Then I masked out the background and used the small cloud stencil to create the coloured panels.

I popped up the seagulls and with some foam tape and added the sentiment to the card and called this one complete.

I do have a video for this one, but it isn’t quite ready. I am hoping to have it finished late tonight, so keep an eye out of my Youtube channel.

Wonderland

Hey friends! Today I am sharing a card I made using Altenew and inspiration from Del and Artie!

I stamped and embossed the lovely florals on some watercolor paper, then went in with multiple layers of come gorgeous Paynes Grey!

I went in a completely different direction then Daniel did in his live video, but none the less I love the way this one came out, and now I think I need to play more with my Qor watercolours! I did film my process to share with you all!

Altenew Fresh Start Stamps/Dies/Stencils/Embossing Folders Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hey friends! Today I am thrilled to be participating in Altenew’s Fresh Start Blog Hop! You can see the entire Fresh Start Collection here!

I have a couple projects to share with you all today, but I will kick things off with this gem using the Airbrushed Flowers Stamps, dies and stencil.

I started off by inking up the background panel in a brown gradient, then adding some silhouettes of the flowers and leaves in the same brown in the background.

I then stamped out the flowers and leaves on some watercolor paper and painted them up using the Altenew Artist’s Watercolours and die cut those out layering them on the card front. Keeping the sentiment simple with a little Hello to to finish it off!

For my second card I white embossed the large floral in the Enchanted Roses stamps set on some kraft coloured cardstock.

I then kept it simple using Tea Party and Green Hills mixed with a little Green Meadows to paint them out. Kraft paper does not take watercolour as well as watercolour paper, but I kept the water to a minimum and it worked out so well! Stamping “Live” with the Limestone ink and outlining it with some white really set it off, and a small flag pannel finished off the rest of the sentiment!

Your Wings

Hey friends! Today I pulled out an older set from The Greeting Farm and had a play with my copics and some gouache to create a background. Also there will be more gouache and more backgrounds this was awesome!

I really LOVE how she looks flying through sky with those pretty blue, purples and pinks! Using my copics are watercolor paper, blended well but it uses a ton of ink. I wouldn’t do it all the time, but it was fun enough that I will do it again!

Also I have a process video to share how I created these pretty clouds!

Let’s Curl Up

Hey friends! Today I pulled out the Let’s Curl Up set from MFT Stamps and decided to remake, with a video and a different medium so I guess not remake but yeah.

So I got the honour of guesting for MFT for their December 2020 release and I fell head over heels for this fox set. I watercoloured one of them up for one of my release projects. Now I decided I had to colour up another one, this time I pulled out my Karin BrushMarkers to colour it!

I really love how these simple little cards come together, they have been a blast to make! And this fox set is so perfect and dreamy for it. Now that I am writing this post I also wanna make a blue fox… maybe there will be another card from this set lol.

Check out my process video!

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Cora Louise Peony Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hey friends! I am honoured to be participating with Altenew New Build-a-flower Blog Hop!

I am always thrilled when I get to play along with Altenew, nothing makes me happier then when I get to play with watercolours and Altenew ALWAYS offers that opportunity with their floral images.

I embossed the image and the main part of the sentiment with rose gold embossing powder, then painted it up with pink and green. I then decided I wanted less contrast from the background and went in and did a dip dye look with the same pink colour from the floral itself.

Adding the remainder of the sentiment with black ink, I decided to take a black pen and add drop shadows to the embossed part of my sentiment.
