Hey all! Today I am here sharing a process video of a watercolour card using Power Poppy’s Time to Fly.
I love painting flowers, they are one of my favorite things, but the clock face in this image really spoke to me, so I had to paint it!
Building up colour through light layers is definitely the way I prefer to paint. I love starting out with light soft colours and building them up to get the depth of colour that I would like, as well as changing shades through glazing.
Hey everyone! Today I have a fun card and process video to share with you all featuring MFT Stamps Adventure is Calling (this stamp is retiring so get it while you can, link at the bottom of the post!)
I coloured our girl up with my copic markers, then fussy cut her out. Die cutting the hi using the Impact Alphabet dies on painted cork really looks awesome on this. Distress Oxide and a brick stencil (that I can no longer find online) made a fun background for her.
It’s the 15th, and the FEBRUARY 2020 RELEASE is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store! Our first set called FLOWER FIELDS is a gorgeous stamp set full of various floral stamps to create an amazing background or scene. Then, we introduced you to an awesome set called HELLO EASTER featuring 6 characters, 2 sentiments, and a bunch of adorable accessories. Lastly, we showcased a new cutting die called HELLO SPRING.
To celebrate we are having a short BLOG HOP, where one lucky fan will take home the entire release! We will announce the random winner later in the week on the Blog and in our Facebook Group: The Greeting Farm Fan Page.
I had a blat colouring up this cutie with my copic markers. I cut her out then added her to some splashy watercolour and a sentiment from the same Happy Easter Stamp Set!
**NOTE: Please use the same name on all the blogs when leaving a comment. Also, please do not pick the Anonymous option when leaving a comment (otherwise we won’t be able to verify that it’s you). Thank you!
Hello all, and Happy Valentines day! Today is day 4 of previews for The Greeting Farm! That means tomorrow is the day you can pick all these things up!
Today we have a new die for you, called Hello Spring. Oh how I wish it was spring where I am. I cut it out on masking paper, then used my Distress Oxide Sprays to colour the background. Adding an image from Miss Anya Buckles finished this one off!
Welcome back to the third day of previews for The Greeting Farm! Today we have a new set called Happy Easter to share with you all!
I coloured up a couple of the adorable little characters with my copic markers, cutting them out and placing them on a simple background. I do a scavenger hunt every year with my son, and this is one of the card I will use as a clue for him!
Welcome back to day 2 of previews for The Greeting Farm! Today we have a new mermaid for you all called Mellia Mermaid!
I coloured her up with my copic markers, I love adding little dots to the tail to add with the overall effect of the mermaid. It makes me happy! The sentiment came from another set called Maisea Mermaid! Adding it all on a light watercolored background really finished this card off!
Today is the kick off to the February 2020 release from The Greeting Farm! We have some great stamps for you all this month!
Starting off with one of my favorite things, a floral stamp! This one is full of tiny flowers and leaves and makes me so happy!
I stamped the flowers in Distress Ink Antique Linen, then watercoloured them up with the Prima Vintage Pastel watercolours. Adding a thank you sentiment in dark brown and a copic coloured, older image to the front really makes those watercoloured flowers look like a piece of patterned paper. I love how it came out!
