Wheee 1

Hey everyone! This image was so much fun to colour! When I saw this set released from Kraftin’ Kimmie I really just had to have it. Probably because I always loved tire swings growing up.

Wheeeee 2

I coloured this image with my copics, and used a sentiment from the same stamp set. A few layers of paper, some ribbon, twine, and enamel dots finish off this fun happy card.

Hello There

Hello there 1

Hey everyone, Here is another card from me. This stamp is from CC Designs and is called Baby Willow, she is coloured with my Prismacolor Pencils.

Hello There 2

This is what I would call a scrap card, all of the patterned papers on this card were out of my scrap bag (leftovers from other projects). They are all distressed on the edges and inked with vintage photo distress ink, then layered on kraft cardstock to allow the card to not appear to busy.

The trims are from my stash, some lace and some Sari Silk Ribbon. The pearls are from Recollections, the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the hello there sentiment is from Scraptastic.

So Lovely

So Lovely 1a

Hey everyone! Back again with a fun square card I made recently. This image from Saturated Canary was coloured with my Prisma Colour Pencils.

So Lovely 2a

I love all the layers on this card, even though it is rather simple when it comes to product used, one paper pad, a couple die cuts, and the sentiment is from a chipboard sheet I have in my stash. The white card stock behind all the pattern papers help break them up and not look to busy layered on top of each other.

It’s Party Time

Kraftin Kimmie tire

Hey everyone! Don’t you just love this image!! I do! It is called Summer Swingin’ from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps (links in the bottom of the blog post as usual). She was coloured with my Prisma Colour Pencils.

The papers I used are from the Dear Lizzy Serendipity 6×6 paper pad. I really am thrilled with the way this card came together. I find the white boarders behind all the patterns just let the papers pop and make all the different patters not to busy on top of eachother.

Its Party Time

Its Party Time 1

Hey Everyone. It’s been a few days, dealing with mom stuff, sick kid all that jazz. Anyway on to the card, This one was fun, a couple of weeks ago the Kraftin’ Kimmie facebook group had an online crop and this was my card for one of the challenges.

I coloured this image from the Birthday Buddies Stamp set from Kraftin’ Kimmie with my Copics.

Its Party Time 2

I followed a sketch that was supplied for the challenge, I actually enjoy following other peoples sketches. I have always had a sketch book (I think its like 4 of them now) that I sketch out card or layout designs in when I am upstairs and cant go down to make card at that moment. But it was fun to follow someone elses.

I dug out this paper pad from Bo Bunny (Surprise Collection) it has lots of fun bright primary colours, which is something I don’t usually work with. It turned out awesome! I matted the patterned paper on black cardstock.

Hi Kraftin’ Kimmie Krop

KKS HI 1

Hey everyone. I am back with another card from the Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps online Krop. This was challenge #2, the card sketch was laid out for a square card but I do more of the A2 size so I make it work for me.

The Pretty Little Pixies stamp set has been a favorite of mine again lately (I have owned it for a long time.) I coloured the image with my Prisma Color Pencils.

KKS hi 2

So second part of the challenge was pink, so I added that into my colouring, as well as chose the Basic Grey Highline collection for my patterned paper. I added just a little detail using a notebook punch from one of the knock out sets from American Crafts.

The Hi sentiment is from the Gold Foil Project life kit, and enamel dots finish off the outside of the card. Inside of the card I stamped “Wishing you a day that sparkles!” from the same stamp set.

Primitive Bird

Joycee Card 1

Hey everyone. I have a lovely friend over on Ustream, The Frugal Eclectic (Joycee) who inspires me regularly. Her ability to take things I would normally throw in the recycle bin and turn it into something lovely. Well a couple weeks ago she made this sweet little card out of some paper she was painting on. Some of us loved the shape of her bird so much and the card we actually got her to measure it and give it to us so that we could all make a template (I added a wing to mine).

Joycee Card 2

I used some of my Graphic 45 French Country (8×8) that I have left in my stash. I lifted the card that Joycee had made fairly closely. Kept it simple and let the primitive bird stand out on the front. I used some May Arts twine to tie around the bird and the front panel. Behind that I have some DCWV burlap. All the papers have been inked with Walnut Stain.

You’re my Everything

Your my everything 1

Hey everyone! It’s been a very long time sense I have done anything with a “shabby” feel to it. This card was a fun challenge for me.

Your my everything 2

I started with Kaiser Craft the lake shore collection and cut my back panel. Traced a standard shipping tag and cut it out. I then ran the two smallest dies out of the Spellbinders standard circles LG set to cut the semi circle out of the side of the tag.

The heart is from a coffee cup die from Simon Says Stamp. I took a piece of corrugate and distressed then added some Golden Titanium white paint to it. A little bit of twine and a few little pearls from Recollections finish off the card.

The inside of the card has a simple Happy Anniversary stamped in it.

Special Fairy

Special Fairy 1

Hey everyone, this past weekend on the Kraftin Kimmie Stamps facebook page, they had a Krafty Krop to celebrate reaching 2000+ likes and Kim’s birthday.

Special Fairy 2

This card I made for the first challenge, I followed the sketch pretty closely using the Pretty Little Pixies Stamp set. The second part to the challenge was to distress it, so I coloured my image with Distress markers and distressed all of the paper.
