Trying Gouache for the 1st time

Hey all, I picked up some Holbein Gouache about a month ago, and I have finally gotten around to trying it for the first time.

I have always loved playing with watercolours, but this is a first time medium for me. Needless to say I am hooked! Can’t wait to start incorporating them into my cardmaking!

I started in my sketch book painting a couple mall scenes. Then I had bought a new Lamy pen from a store in Regina called Paper Umbrella, and I love their stamped paper bags, so I decided to paint on it!

I did record the entire process of this one, I wasn’t sure if I was going to share the video but a couple friends said to so here it is for you all!

Birthday Chicks

Hey all! Today I am sharing a fun watercolor card. Really working on breaking in my recently created custom watercolor palette!

I decided I wanted to play with MFT Birthday Chicks stamp set again. I have always loved these little birds they are always a blast to play with.

I watercoloured this entire card. Took about 2 hours from start to finish. I of course have a complete card process video for you to enjoy!

Woodland Whimsy

Hey everyone! Hope everyone is having a great day! Today I have a soft card to share with you all featuring Simon Says Stamp Woodland Whimsy.

I played with my new custom watercolor palette to paint this card up. I really hope we get more of these whimsical characters from SSS.

I do have a complete process video for you all for this card.

I am so happy with how this one came out. I love the no lines look of the deer and then the black stamping of the banner and the botanical doodles.

Today we are sharing Lettered (a wonderful sentiment set) and Aquarina!

I did some masking of the images, then distress ink blended a background. My favorite part is always removing the masks and then filling in the bright white image left underneath. Adding the sentiment from the Lettered set really finished this one off!

I coloured Aquarina up with my copics then fussy cut her out, I went back to my distress inks and then a bunch of different circles stamped on top in water to give it a sort of underwater feel

Today we are sharing Cute Kitties and Bubbles Anya with you all! The cats are adorable with their little boxy style, and you can never go wrong adding another Anya to your collection!

I have been having a blast playing with my copics and my distress inks for this week of previews. I did some mirror stamping to be able to use the same kitty facing both directions on my first card. Today I, also, threw in some watercolours for the background on Bubbles Anya as well.

The Greeting Farm – Mystery Box Release

Happy Monday everyone! This week we have a special release we are showcasing! Twice this year, we released Mystery Boxes. Both of the boxes contained 5 new stamps, along with stickers and enamel pins and a few other extra goodies. We had a lot of amazing feedback, but we also had many who missed out on the special boxes. 

Our awesome customers asked and pleaded for the stamps to be released individually at a later time. Well, we are happy to announce that those pleas were heard, and this month is your chance to grab these exclusive cuties!!
