Oddball Turtle

Hey everyone, I am on my second last guest post for Stamping Bella!

It has been so fun creating for them, and there will be more Stamping Bella shared on my blog here, even after the guest spot has ended.

This week, I decided to pull out my watercolours again and paint up the Oddball Turtle.

Using my Daniel Smith paints to paint up this salty little guy. Working in light layers and letting them dry completely to achieve the depth of colour I was after.

Hugs,
Jessie

The Greeting Farm – May New Release

It’s the 15th, and the MAY Release is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store.

We are so excited to introduce dies back to the store and the 2 sets, HI/HELLO and THANK YOU, are sure to be a great addition to your collection. Many customers have asked for more big Anyas so we had to bring her back cuter than ever in our clear set called MISS ANYA CROP. Our 3rd set introduces a new character called MINKIE, and captures her in her daily life activities. Finally, we have POOL PARTY, and features my perfect summer activity….on an inner tube in a pool or lazy river!

To celebrate our release, we are having a short BLOG HOP!! You have until MAY 18th at 12pm CST/1pm EST to leave your comments on each Designer’s Blog and The Greeting Farm Blog (letting us know you completed the hop). The winner wins this entire release!

**NOTE: Please use the same name on all the blogs when leaving a comment. Also, please do not pick the Anonymous option when leaving a comment (otherwise we won’t be able to verify that it’s you). Thank you!

The Greeting Farm – May Previews

Hey everyone! Welcome back to the second day of previews for The Greeting Farm.

Today’s card uses Miss Anya Crop, these ladies are adorable in their little crop tops!

I coloured her and the little kitty up with my copic markers. Adding a spashy watercolour background with some Cobalt teal, and a sentiment from It’s Your Birthday.

The Greeting Farm – May Previews

Hey all! Welcome to Day 1 of previews for The Greeting Farm.

We are kicking things off this month with some new dies! We have a Hi Hello die set and a Thank you die! I used the Hello die for my card.

I painted up some flowers from the With Love stamp set, with my watercolours. Once I got that all painted up, I cut the hello out of white cardstock 4 times, then cut it out of the watercolour piece layering the die cuts all together I added that all back into the card.

I am super happy with the way this one came together!

Curvy Girl Eats Cake

Hey everyone! Today I have a guest post for Stamping Bella! I am so thrilled to be guest designing for them, it really is a dream. I have loved the stamps this company releases for years!

For my first card, I pulled out Curvy Girl Eats Cake and my coloured pencils. I haven’t shown my pencils much love lately, but this was the perfect opportunity.

I stamped her out with a light colour ink, to give the no lines colouring look, once everything was finished. Then I went in and coloured it up with my Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils.

Once I got her all coloured up, I decided I wanted the sentiment to look really sketchy as well. So I stamped it with the same light coloured ink, then traced over it with my black pencils to give it the sketchy look.

Thanks so much for stopping by
