MFT Stamps and Posca Paint Markers

Hey all! I have been on this kick of playing with new things, changing up my cards and using things that have been in my stash forever and not used.

With that in mind today’s card is incorporating Posca Paint Markers into my card making!

I started with some pre copic colored images using MFT Sending Sweet Celebration Wishes, and creating a background. I do have a process video of the background!

You Gnome Me

I have been playing with all sorts of things I have had in my collection for a long time, that have been neglected or not used at all!

So today I have my first card from my stash to share today! Today I pulled out the You Gnome Me set from MFT and kept it monocromatic with some blue pencils from my Luminance stash!

I really love the look on toned grey paper, I love seeing how much shade variation I can get while using the same pencils all the way thru.

The Greeting Farm – January Release Hop!

It’s the 15th, and the JANUARY 2020 RELEASE is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store!

The first set, MINKIE #3, showcases our cute Minkie getting ready to go on more adventures. Then we have the LOVE YOU Cutting Die which is perfect to use alone or can be combined with any of our characters. Next up is CHEEKY BABE who is all dolled for an awesome date night. And to round out the release, we brought you 3 big Anyas in the set called MISS ANYA BUCKLES wearing stylish boots with buckles. 

I kept things super simple again on this card, using the Grateful For You set with the Love You Die, they seem to fit together so perfectly! This time I just inkblended a simple heart lightly in the background!

To celebrate we are having a short BLOG HOP, where one lucky fan will take home the entire release! The Greeting Farm – January – Preview Day 4

Welcome back to the final day of preview for The Greeting Farm! We have a new Miss Anya set to share with you all today!

I broke out my watercolours for this one! Painting up Miss Anya Buckles then fussy cutting her out. Adding a little hand drawn farm scene for the background finished this one off with the Hey sentiment from the same set!

Welcome back to day 3 of The Greeting Farm January 2020 previews!

Today we have a brand new cheeky for you all! Cheeky Babe is making her grand debut today! I am always over the moon with a new cheeky!

I coloured her up with my copic markers, putting her onto a kraft card with a stenciled splash in the background and some patterned paper at the top really set this card off!

The Greeting Farm January 2020 – preview day 2

For day 2 of The Greeting Farm previews, we are previewing the Love You die! I paired it up with Greateful for You stamp set!

I embossed the florals from the Grateful for You stamp set in white embossing powder on hotpress watercolor paper. Adding a few layers of distress oxide “squishing it with water” technique, I don’t know what to call it… wait its smooshhing right, something like that.

After that was dry, I took a black pencil and traced the embossing under neath and to the right to make it look as though the flowers are actually popped up when they are flat!

I then cut the Love You sentiment out of the panel and 4 more times out of white layering those up to create an eclipse card.

Abominable

Hey all! Today I am sharing a card with the C.C. Designs new release!

I masked off the bottom snow hills, then used distress ink and gouache to create the sky. Die cutting the word Yeti out and using it with the eclipse technique and adding the stamped hello above it finished off the background. Popping up two of the yeti’s from the Abominable set up on top finished it off!

Cave Kids

Happy New year!

I am kicking things off this year playing with gouache in my cardmaking. I paired it up with the Stamping Bella Cave Kids and Cave Kids Add on stamp sets!

I painted the whole background with my gouache paints, then coloured up the kids in my copics and popped them up on top!

I had so much fun learning and painting this background up, I even filmed the whole process for you all!
