Abominable

Hey all! Today I am sharing a card with the C.C. Designs new release!

I masked off the bottom snow hills, then used distress ink and gouache to create the sky. Die cutting the word Yeti out and using it with the eclipse technique and adding the stamped hello above it finished off the background. Popping up two of the yeti’s from the Abominable set up on top finished it off!

Copics used – E43, E42, E41, B99, B97, B95, B93

Forest Creature Birthday!

Hey everyone! Today I am playing with my Inktense Pencils and C.C. Designs!

I always love fun and whimsical animals to paint and colour up for cards. This little fox matched perfectly with my inktense pencils! I turned on the camera to capture the process of this one!

Start to finish on this little card was about 40 minutes. I really love getting lost in painting things up. Water soluble mediums have slowly become my favorite!

There are tons of new goodies in this release apart from some super cute stamps, there is paper, enamel dots, and a die set!

C.C. Designs - Monkeys - Jessie Banks

I coloured up the monkey from the Monkeys set with my coloured pencils. I then used the new paper and the cloud die to create the fun background. A little bit of green ink on the white pannel and some splashed of water finish off this adorable little card!

Unicorns

Hey everyone! Hope everyone had a great weekend, we had cold weather, the power went out, we got a bunch of snow. All in all, a regular day in a Saskatchewan winter!

Okay back on track, I am playing along with Kathy Racoosin and her 30 Day Colouring Challenge! If you would like to see what I make for the days that do not hit my blog make sure to check out my Instagram!

I had so much fun working on this one, the unicorns and sentiment come from C.C. Designs (links to everything will be at the bottom the post). I free handed in the tree and the bush to finish off this fun little scene.

After everything was all stamped and drawn in I pulled out a bunch of my watercolours and painted this up, I didn’t make a list of the colours used for this, I do apologize for that and I now have a little notebook to keep track of that.
