New Watercolors! Stoneground Paint Co.

Hey everyone! Today I am sharing a new palette, 8 new watercolours. From Stoneground Paint Co.

It is a gorgeous, flourescent palette! I am over the moon with these new neon colours! Yes they will not be lightfast, like the traditional colours. But these are super fun for making cards, sketch books, art work that is getting scanned in.

They also look super pretty on the black watercolour paper! So bright and vivid even with their transparency you can see them!

I do have a video sharing all these colours. Remember the photos do take some of the vividness of these paints away! But I am over the moon with these!

You will be able to pick these paints up over at Stoneground Paint Co. website at some point today!

The Greeting Farm – Miss Anya Coffee Break

Hey everyone! I have a fun card today. I have been getting myself out of my funk, and today’s card was nothing but fun! I feel am loving making cards again!

I stamped this girl from Miss Anya Coffee Break on a piece of toned grey paper. I decided to see what I could do with 6 pencils, one of them being black to retrace the stamped lines. It was a challenge and a great time to see all the different shades of brown I could get with the same 5 coloured pencils!

Pencils used:
Luminance – Sepia
Sepia 50%
Brown Ocher 10%
White
Faber Castell – Bister
Black

Altenew Wallpaper Art and Watercolors

Hey everyone! Today I am here with a soft card featuring Altenew Stamps and Watercolors!

I have had these paints in my collection for quite some time now. I have discovered that I have this issue where I am afraid that I will use them up, and then want them. But, I really need to get over it, and use this stuff. So this card was a step in the right direction, to using my stuff!

As for these paints, I really enjoyed using them. They rewet awesome, the mix well. They layer fantastic, which is how I do most of my painting. Saturation was great, color selection is gorgeous. All in all I really love these paints!

As for my card today, I have been doing one layer cards for such a long time now. This is such a step outside of my comfort zone. I really love how this one came together.

I do have a complete process video of this one for you all as well!

Black Watercolor paper?!?!

Hey all! Today I am playing with a new to me paper. Stonehenge Black Aqua paper! I had a blast pairing this with white gouage and floral stamps!

This card was super fun, I really enjoyed spending a couple of hours with a new paper and one tube of paint.

As for the Black Aqua paper, I really like it. It accepted the Gouache and water just as I expected it to, I did go into it considering it a watercolor paper. It is 100% cotton and is 140lbs the big difference is that it is black and not white.

I do have a process video to share with you all as well!

The Greeting Farm – October Release Blog Hop

It’s the 15th, and the OCTOBER RELEASE is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store! Our first set, features the beautiful HOLIDAY ANYA 7 with a gingerbread man cookie and the sentiment Oh Snap. The 2nd set called LITTLE ELVES has an entire crew of worker elves getting all the toys ready in Santa’s workshop. Next, we have THE MORE THE MERRIER with the cutest woodland animals celebrating the holidays in style. Lastly, we introduced two new large word dies: SANTA BABY and MERRY CHRISTMAS.

For my card today, I coloured up our image in my copic markers. I have been ignoring my poor markers lately and am so happy I pulled them out again. I love how she came out, once she was coloured I did add some black coloured pencil to help with a little more depth on the image.

Fussy cut her out and added her to the patterned paper, and star stenciled panel. A small sentiment and this card was complete!

To celebrate we are having a short BLOG HOP, where one lucky fan will take home the entire release! You have until OCTOBER 18th at 12pm CST/1pm EST to leave your comments on each Designer’s Blog and The Greeting Farm Blog (letting us know you completed the hop). We will announce the random winner later in the week.

**NOTE: Please use the same name on all the blogs when leaving a comment. Also, please do not pick the Anonymous option when leaving a comment (otherwise we won’t be able to verify that it’s you). Thank you!

The Greeting Farm – October Previews Day 4

Hey everyone! Welcome to the final day of Previews for The Greeting Farm!

Today we are sharing a couple of dies with you all! I chose to use the Santa Baby die, and pair it with the Simon Says Stamp Stamptember set that I didn’t get a chance to use, because it got to me after it was released.

So I stamped and masked a little holiday scene colouring it up with my copic markers. I then die cut the sentiment from the top, and also from a piece of craft foam to create the sentiment in white but with it being lifted it is still able to be easily seen, the name for this style of card escapes me. But I love it!

The Greeting Farm – October Preview Day 3

Hey all! Welcome back to day 3 of previews for The Greeting Farm! We are nearing the new release!

Today’s set is called The More the Merrier! It is full of the cutest little critters ever!

Let’s talk about this card! I had a fantastic time colouring up the little hedge hog and door! and for some reason while I had them all masked out I decided it was a door to no where? Notice the blue sky and green grounding. But, I was so happy with how it looked all put together that I did not want to change it and try and make it look like the inside or outside of a house. So I left it the way it was. I am really happy with how it turned out.

I have been doing so much painting with my watercolours lately, that it was so much fun to pull out my colored pencils and colour this one up!

The Greeting Farm – October Preview Day 2

Hey all! Welcome to day 2 of previews for The Greeting Farm!

I love making cards, but one of my favorite ways to keep myself, somewhat, organized is creating lists. This set lets you keep all the holiday things simple and organized. Of course, it will also work awesome on cards and your planner!

I know it looks so simple. But once I add in all the rest of the present ideas, and fill the other side with my baking list it is going to be super adorable, aside from my messing printing.

I added a little bit of colour with my Tombow markers to add a pop of colour!
