R.I.P Dear Vagabond

Well the other day I was using my beloved die cutting machine. and quit working with a die half way through it. I eventually got the die out, the machine will move about 1/4 inch every 5 or so minutes.

The unfortunate part is that I have had my machine for about 3 years, therefore no warranty left of it, so I am out of luck with it. It was a wonderful run, I loved that machine. I do believe it should have lasted longer then it did, but there is nothing I can do about it.

So for the time being, till I buy myself a Big Shot or a Cuttlebug or something more portable, I will give my Accucut Grandemark some serious love. It needs it anyway. So happy I have that larger machine.

Thanks for stopping by,

Will be back with a new card for you all tomorrow

June Faves

My 3 Favourites for the month of June are…

Spellbinders Shapeablities Feathers

faves feathers

I really love this die set.. they are so pretty they cut and emboss, beautiful detail. And if you cut them out of craft foam they make amazing stamps!

Spellbinders Shapeabilities Peacock Feathers

This follows the same reason why I love the one above. These dies from spellbinders simply stunn me (there is a blog post for tomorrow using this die)

Distress Glitter

This is the best, chunky, vintage glass looking glitter ever. Without it being glass! I truly love this stuff the colours are phenomenal, and they are ink-able which makes them even better!! Just try them, trust me.

Happy Crafting,

May’s favourites….

Here we go again another month is done and here are my 3 favourite products for this month

Indigoblu Mega Flakes:

MF Royal Peacock-650x650

This stuff is seriously lovely, I know you haven’t seen any project with it…. YET! Be on the lookout next month as I have been making some fun things with it. You can start with the Kit in a Box which comes with everything you need to get started, then there are many other colours of the Mega Flakes, I personally love the Lancashire Rose Flakes, and the next ones I will be picking up are the ones pictures above, Royal Peacock.

Tim Holtz Ray Stencil

THRays

Stencils have been really popular in the cardmaking world lately and here is one of my favourites, this is a fun stencil from Tim Holtz, when you blend different colours together through it its just a truely lovely look.

Faber Castell Gelato

FaberCastellGelatosBlue

These are so fun! They come in a wide variety of colours, are water soluble and just blend lovely with only your finger! I made a little Butterfly Card using them earlier this month and must play with them some more.

One of these days I will have a flop for you all, something new I tried this month that I just really didn’t like, but this month that did not happen. Which is actually a good thing I didn’t waste anything money
