Funny Farm Crew

Hey everyone! Today I am sharing my first ever card with Your Next Stamp! I coloured up a few of the characters from the Funny Farm Crew set with my copics.

Your Next Stamp Funny Farm Crew.jpg

I am sorry but I didn’t write down the markers I used for these little guys! But they are ever so cute!

I die cut the background shapes with C.C Designs Pinky Rectangles dies. then I created the little scene with distress inks. and popped my characters up on top. The sentiment comes from the same stamp set, and I also stamped “From the whole herd” on the inside!

I coloured her up with my copic markers, then cut her out. I love making shaped cards and really should do it more often they are always super fun! I have been using up pattern paper from my stash for two years now, you couldn’t tell I have used any. I have this need to use the things that I have!

I embellished with some chipboard a few buttons and some twine!

March Farm Fresh Challenge

Hey everyone! It’s a brand new month and that means a new Farm Fresh Challenge over the The Greeting Farm!

This month the challenge is Mixed Media! Now you can go all out and make a lovely canvas, keep it simple and do a one layer card with copic colouring and a distress ink background! It doesn’t have to be elaborate or super simple to be called mixed media, it just has to have more then one medium on the project.

I landed somewhere in the middle, my image, Blush Bebe was coloured with my standard Copic markers, I then edged all of my papers in distress ink before roughing them up a little. The chipboard was painted with Gouache that I tinted with some pigment powders. after putting on the flowers and getting the card all set together some molding paste really finished it off!

I hope you are willing to step outside of your comfort zone, or play within your favorite style with us on this months challenge!
