This snowy set features two main images of a raccoon having a ball and a sweet polar bear giving his penguin pals a lift!! Aren’t they cute? Plus there are four sweet sentiments!

As some of you know, the first annual Kraftin’ Kimmie Retreat was this past weekend, and those of you that were there saw this little RACCOON come to life! I was so happy with him, unfortunately the lighting on the photo was slightly off, and I left him to live with Kim so this is what we get. It is fairly close though.

Colour Focus – Nickel Azo Yellow

Hey everyone! Today’s colour focus is going to focus on one of my favorite yellows, Nickel Azo Yellow, PY150. I love this colour for it’s bright glowing washes, and it’s rich mass tones. This pigment is a staple in making the new versions of my beloved Quinacridon Gold as well!

I love the variations of colours you can achieve with mixing this, I had a hard time getting all the colours to appear correctly for this one, those purple tones of to the right, are actually more brown with purple undertones, as you will see in the video, but the rest of the colours are true.

Colour Focus – Quinacridone Coral

Hey all! I am starting a fun new series on my youtube channel where I am going to focus on one watercolour a week, and see some of the mixes it can create as well as all the other info on that colour! I thought I would share it here on my blog as well any maybe, it will help you choose what colours you want to play with in your art work and cardmaking adventures!

We are kicking things off with one of my most used and favorite colours I own, Quinacridone Coral (PR209).

Hey all! Welcome to day 1 of previews for C.C. Designs September release! Halloween is always such a fun time in the stamping world.

I am playing with the new Funny Pumpkins stamp set today to kick off the previews!

I watercoloured up the background and the pumpkins as well! Adding a die cut spiderweb from the Halloween dies (new) die set finished off the front of this card!

I stamped this one out on Arches 140lbs hotpress watercolour paper, then painted it with my Daniel Smith watercolour. I love the soft washy slightly creepy feel of this!

Inspire Me Monday – Ruffled Up!

I had a blast with this image, playing with a new watercolour brush that I got for Mother’s Day, this was the first real image that I got to paint with it. But I love this brush!
