Hey everyone! Football season is upon us in Saskatchewan! We tend to bleed green for our riders! So I used IMG991 from Sherri Baldy My Besties. I coloured her up with my copic markers.

The embossing element was added using Stampendous Shabby White embossing powder sprinkled around the image and heat set.

My Besties- New releases

Hey everyone, Sherri Baldy My Besties just had a New Realease! Yay, for new Besties!!!
I made three cards for this release.

My first card uses IMG665, as well as the new Apple Blossom Paper. I really love the little lady sitting in the strawberry basket. This paper is so much fun I will be using it over and over again!

My second card uses IMG663, I kept this card nice and simple with clean layers a few flowers and a little bit of ribbon

This card uses IMG667 as well as the Blue Rose Garden Vintage Teal Paper. I love this darling little mermaid, she was so fun to colour, lots of paper layers, flowers and ribbon finish this card off.

Kraftin’ Kimmie Saturday Challenge – Try Something New

Hey everyone! Happy Saturday and with that comes another challenge from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps! So pull out your Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps (or any stamps for that matter) and play along with this weeks challenge and TRY SOMETHING NEW! (If you do not have any Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps and would like to try some of them for something new there are the Frugal Friday specials up for the weekend!

So for my card this week I used Kitty Kapers 2, and die cut it into a circle with part of the image sticking out past the circle, you may have seen this on my blog recently BUT this card was the first time I attempted it and I just loved the technique so much I have actually been using it quite regularly now.

Polkadoodles Challenge Frame it!

Wahoo!! I am absolutely thrilled and amazed that Nikky Hall asked me to do a guest spot for Polkadoodles. Her images and digi papers and oh just everything are so awesome and fit wonderfully in my ever growing stash.

The frame around my image was made using Cherry veneer paper and Birch veneer paper. a few simple patterned paper layers, some seam binding, a doily I cut out of place mat thing I got from a garage sale for 5 cents, and some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers finish off the front of this card.
