Hey everyone! Long time no see, sorry I am not avoiding my blog just been really busy with work, and some things you will see in the future. BUT, today I have a card featuring Camellias Digital Stamp from Power Poppy.

Hellebores

Hey everyone! We are still going strong and having a great time playing with Power Poppy images over at Passionate Paper Creations and Friends this weekend. If you aren’t over there with us yet you really should be!

PP Hellebores wc 2

To colour the Hellebores image up I used my Schmincke Horadam Aquarel watercolour set. I will list the colours I used, but just remember these colours were mixed together and used with different amounts of water to achieve the look I was after not just straight colour out of the pans.

Colours used – Lemon Yellow, Chrome Yellow Deep, Magenta, Permanent Carmine, Delft Blue, Idigo, Prussian Green, May Green, Colbalt Green Dark, Olive Green Yellow, and Yellow Ocher.

Gerbra Daisies

PP Gerbra Daisies 1.jpg

Hello all! Today I have another card in my current flower obsession, this one is Gerbra Daisies from Power Poppy.

I coloured these beauties up with my copic markers and have a video to share that with you!

PP Gerbra Daisies 2

Having these flowers as a digital stamp allows me to blow up them up to fit on the front of a standard A2 size card.

You are probably sick of me entering this Power Poppy Challenge for May, but this card fits in and I am been on a flower roll so I may as well throw another card in for a chance to win a free stamp! (Who doesn’t like free?)

Sunflower Power

pp Sunflower 1.jpg

Hey everyone! I have been on a bit of a floral kick lately! I recently did a rose image from Power Poppy, and this time I am back having coloured up Sunflower Power.

I coloured it up with my copic markers, Rhea from Passionate Paper Creations told me if I was going to colour another flower I should film it. So here is the video.

PP Sunflower 2

When I colour these flowers I tend to blow them up large and then just double mat them on the card front. I find the large image doesn’t need all the extra stuff that I love to put on my cards!

Hey everyone! Today I have a “stretched” card for you all the finished card measures 3″ x 7″, I used the Hellebores digital stamp from Power Poppy, cropped it to fit a section of the flowers onto the front of my card and then coloured it up with my copic markers.

The Sentiment also comes from that same digital stamp.

Tulips

Power Poppy Tulip

Here is something a little different from me. This is the Tulips Digital Stamp from Power Poppy. I took the digital stamp and lightened it to a light grey in my editing program, then I printed it off and traced it with an Elegant Writer calligraphy pen, THne when that pen is hit with water you get all these pretty blue and pink hues that you see all through the front of this card. It’s a slow process but I really love the way it looks.

I then took my Golden Qor Watercolours to fill in and add some more color to the card (if I was to remake this card the purple flower in the middle would be in the same colour family as the other 2, I feel that the purple flower kinda gets lost. But I still love the card). Once it was all dry I cut the panel to 5 1/4″ x 4″ and matted it on white then put it on a green card base.

You can purchase this card here.

I would like to enter this card into the Power Poppy  Shabby Chic challenge.

I have uploaded the 3 part live making of this card to my youtube channel, you can find the link in the more places to find me page!
