I used the Tweetie Pies stamp sent and painted it up with my watercolours, adding some branches with hanging flowers off of them. They aren’t perfect but I am really happy with how this scene turned out!

I was going to add a sentiment to the front, but couldn’t find a perfect place for it, so I will add it to the center of the card.

I love this bear set featuring 5 bear images, two of which I have painted in watercolours on the front of this card. I kept this one super cute and splashy, looking like fluffy teddy bears!

The Greeting Farm – January Previews Day 1

Hey all! Big welcome to the first day of previews for the January release for The Greeting Farm.

The first set for this month is called With Love. It features some fabulous flowers and fairies!

I pulled out the flowers and cut a whole bunch of masks to make this great little card, layering the flowers to create a couple clusters. I then pulled out my watercolours and painted this up. I am over the moon with how this came out!

Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps January Preview Day 1

Welcome to the FIRST release of this brand new year at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps!

This is Day ONE of our January Krafty Peeks and we are over the moon excited to share everything with you! We’ve got new stamp sets, new stencils, new ink, a BRAND NEW PRODUCT and we’re thrilled to be introducing you to our NEW ARTIST!
Hang on tight…’cause here we go!

The first set for January that we are sharing with you is called YOU ARE SUPER and is from our brand new artist, Neda Sadreddin!

We all have women and girls in our lives who are superheros to us and to others! Just by being themselves as a Mom, a Grandma, a Friend…and we need to tell them more often how AWESOME we think they are! So here comes the perfect stamp set! It features a main full sized image plus two portrait sized images in different super cute poses! You can add a mask and even different letters to her chest to make it personal for the recipient! There are several sentiments and options to create your own! I think you’ll agree this is a fabulous first set from Neda!

You’ll get to see ALL of our new goodies in action over the next few days of January Krafty Peeks and they’ll all be released at our LIVE Online Release Party on Saturday, January 12 at 2pm EST in the Krafty Friends group!

Sketched Flowers

Hey all! I have lots of things and goals I want to accomplish this year, and part of it is branching out and working with other companies. So today I decided to play along with Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge. This weeks theme is Something New, which made it pretty easy.

I pulled out a brand new set, that I haven’t used yet from Simon Says Stamps called Sketched Flowers. I also used a new watercolor to me Daniel Smith’s Sleeping Beauty Turquoise.

I had so much fun painting this piece and playing with some colours I haven’t used much, or at all before.

Hey everyone! Happy New Year! I know December was boring here on my blog, but it’s a New Year and here we go again!

Today’s card features Plane Amazing and Skyward Anya from The Greeting Farm!

I stamped and masked them out on Arches 140lbs Coldpress Watercolour paper. then painted them up with my Daniel Smith paints. I have been all abut the watercolour for the last while, and I don’t see that ending anytime soon.

I am super blessed to be on The Greeting Farm team again this year, and can not wait to share a bunch more projects with you all!

Gnome on Swing

Hey all! Today I have something fun to share with you all! I bought this stamp a while ago and just never had/made the time to get it coloured up. But today I have it painted up and ready to share with you all! I have loved Stamping Bella stamps forever! They are one of my favorites to pick up when I have time to just colour, or paint!

I stamped out Gnome on a Swing in a no lines colour, pulled out my Daniel Smith Paints and got to work!

Welcome back to another month of Skrappy Fun
at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps!!!

We challenge YOU to make Anything BUT a Card!!!
For this challenge you can make anything you wanna….except a card! So that means bookmarks, gifts, scrapbook pages, journal art, planner pages, tags, boxes…pretty much anything that includes a krafty stamp!! You have all month long to play AND you can enter as many times as you like!

Just make sure to include a Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamp and make sure it’s a NEW creation! As soon as we have at least five people playing, we’ll be giving away a PRIZE!!! yep! One lucky krafter will WIN a $20 gift voucher to the krafty shop!

I love making cards, I am a cardmaker at heart. So I did a tag for today’s anything but a card challenge. I used Polar Pals!

I also have something fun to share with you all. The benefit of working on an amazing team, and having such great people around you can learn lots. I do this regularly but I don’t normally post about it. Some of you may have looked at this tag and recognized it. That’s because I lifted the talented Melanie’s colouring, which you can see here.

I actually do this quite often when I see something I love, but I don’t normally post it anywhere. I thought this one would be fun for you all to see. So what I did was look at Melanie’s card once, then I sat down with my paints and attempted to recreate it. I learned some fun things about fur, and all that jazz. Some of which will be used regularly in my paintings in the future. That is what is so awesome about a design team, we love to create samples as ideas, and things for you to lift to help you learn, and grow in this hobby.

You have TWO full months to play along until Monday January 28th at midnight EST!
