Hey friends! I am honoured to be participating with Altenew New Build-a-flower Blog Hop!
I am always thrilled when I get to play along with Altenew, nothing makes me happier then when I get to play with watercolours and Altenew ALWAYS offers that opportunity with their floral images.
I embossed the image and the main part of the sentiment with rose gold embossing powder, then painted it up with pink and green. I then decided I wanted less contrast from the background and went in and did a dip dye look with the same pink colour from the floral itself.
Adding the remainder of the sentiment with black ink, I decided to take a black pen and add drop shadows to the embossed part of my sentiment.

So beautiful, especially the simplicity of the “dip dye” wash with the same color. And the black pen shadow on the sentiment is brilliant.

There is just something about the gold embossing powder on the card makes me happy. It brings the colors to the surface and the finish is what everyone receiving the card, they touch it and ask, how did you do that? Beautiful card here, very nice.
