The Greeting Farm – March Preview Day 3

Hello Everyone! Welcome back to another day of previews for The Greeting Farm!

Today we get to introduce Miss Anya Bless! This one is super pretty, and now that I am typing this, I should have used yesterdays set and buried her in florals. I will have to do that!

I coloured her up with my copic markers, then fussy cut her out. Then I was at a loss, no idea what to do with her. So I took her over to my patterned paper stash and found a scrap of paper from Prima, probably from 7 or more years ago and used it to mat a kraft panel on. Pulling out my Distress Oxides and a clound stencil I created an angle of clouds and bordered it with a white line. Popping the girl up on top finished this card off.

The Greeting Farm – March Preview Day 2

Hey all! Welcome back to day 2 of previews for The Greeting Farm.

Today we are sharing a new set called Bouquet, and I played with the “Mexico Palette” again when painting these pretty florals up!

I stamped it out with Tea Dye Distress ink then started painting it up, I love working in layers and creating depth on the card, adding a little gray dropped shadow to some of the florals and the sentiment really finished this one off!

The Greeting Farm – March Preview Day 1

Hey all! Welcome to another set of previews for The Greeting Farm!

We are kicking things off this month with A new Cheeky! Meet Cheeky Howdy!

I have been on a watercolor kick, but I wanted to do a scene and play with my copics for this card today, I stamped out the image and then free handed in the cactus and the background.

Floral Mix Background

Hey all, I have been having a blast with my watercolours and gouache and things lately. Don’t worry the Gnome video is almost done, you will get to see that soon.

But today I pulled out a background set from Simon Says Stamp and did some no lines watercolouring with it. It seems to be my thing again lately!

This one probably took me about 3 hours to paint. It was a wonderful time, I love just mindlessly painting, it is always a good time!

Spring Gnomes

Hey all! It is time for a new release from Simon Says Stamp, this release is called Lucky to Know You! I got the sweetest little Gnome set to share with you all, called Spring Gnomes!

I chose to paint these two up with my Mexico Palette (which I think is going to be my new “all the time palette”. I love how it all came together with soft colours.

You can check out this set, and the rest of the Lucky to Know You Release, over here!

Time to Fly

Hey all! Today I am here sharing a process video of a watercolour card using Power Poppy’s Time to Fly.

I love painting flowers, they are one of my favorite things, but the clock face in this image really spoke to me, so I had to paint it!

Building up colour through light layers is definitely the way I prefer to paint. I love starting out with light soft colours and building them up to get the depth of colour that I would like, as well as changing shades through glazing.

Adventure is Calling

Hey everyone! Today I have a fun card and process video to share with you all featuring MFT Stamps Adventure is Calling (this stamp is retiring so get it while you can, link at the bottom of the post!)

I coloured our girl up with my copic markers, then fussy cut her out. Die cutting the hi using the Impact Alphabet dies on painted cork really looks awesome on this. Distress Oxide and a brick stencil (that I can no longer find online) made a fun background for her.

Of course here is the complete process video!
