Inspire Me Monday – Washy Watercolour

Hey everyone! I am here today, hopefully to help inspire your creative week, using an awesome floral image from Power Poppy!

I am all about floral cards, in ever medium ever!! Today I have a video with some super soft watercolour on the Bubbles and Fizz digital stamp!

PP Bubble and FIzz

I really love this image, I chose to print the lightened version of the stamp and use some light washy watercolours. I really love the way this card came out. In my usual style I blew up the image to fit the front of a card and added the sentiment that comes along with it!

I have always loved how washy watercolours work so well with florals, you don’t have to worry about picking every little detail to come out with a super lovely card front!

This set is so fun and, if you have followed my blog or youtube at all, you know flowers are one of my favorite things to colour and paint!

I stamped the flowers onto some masking paper and cut them out in order to create this fun little CAS card. I coloured it up with my Zig Clean Colour Brush Pens!

Succulent Singles

Hey everyone I have a card for Power Poppy ! Bare with me today, because I am going to try and inspire you while playing with a new watercolour medium to me. I have had the Dr. P.H. Martin Hydrus watercolours in my crafty stash for a couple months, and am just now finding the time to play with them!
I decided why not start with the fabulous Succulent Singles stamp set!

I love how bright and vivid these colours are! I do have a video of this being painted for you all, unfortunately there is no voice over, I am still waiting for my replacement mic. Fingers crossed it will be here by the end of the week.
It was super fun to do, and I can not wait to play with them again! They are so bright and vivid, yet you can water them down enough to get soft pastel like colours!

Sunset Sway

Hey everyone!! Today there is a new release at Power Poppy!

This image is absolutely awesome! I painted up Sunset Sway with my watercolour paints, on Fabriano Artistico 140lbs Hotpress Watercolour paper.

I did up the sentiment on my own and added it to my, as per usual zoomed in and cropped slightly image. I really could paint and colour flowers all day everyday!
