The Greeting Farm – August Preview Day 4

Hey all! Today is the final day of previews for The Greeting Farm, that means you can get all the wonderful sets from this release tomorrow!

Today is the digital set, I love instant gratification, don’t you?!?! This set is called Birthday Party and it will work perfectly with the Birthday Girls and Birthday Boy stamps sets already released!

Along with the new Birthday Party and Birthday Girls sets I pulled in some of the others to create a rather large scene. I used the Suv Trunk, Food Truck, and 2020 Girls sets to build this scene.

The Greeting Farm – Preview Day 4

Hey all! Welcome to final day of previews for July at The Greeting Farm! Today is digi day, we have 2 new digital stamps for you! Poolside and Poolside Peeps will let your scene building creativity continue to flow!

I built up this scene from the bottom up in MS Word, starting with the tile, adding the pool then continuing with all the details. It was super fun to colour up with my copic markers.

If you look closely you can see how I carry colours thru the whole image, the yellow is the same in all areas, the blue for the water is dufferent then the other blue/green combo but that one goes thru everything, as well as the pink. I find using smaller colour palette and spacing the colours out thru the whole image allows it to feel very much one piece!

The Greeting Farm – Digi scene coloring with video!

Hey all! Welcome back, today I am using a bunch of digital images to create a fun livingroom scene!

I starting by using Build a Livingroom, Porch, Hello from Home and Desktop from new The Greeting Farm Digital images.

I had a ton of fun with this one, and even created a video to share with you all!

I took this from over an hour and a half down to 15 minutes for you all! But I am super happy with it!

One of my favorite things about digi’s is the instant gratification, buy, download, print and colour! No waiting for shipping! For those of you that are interested I use a HP CP1025nw color laserjet printer for all my digis.

Power Poppy New Digi Release

Hey all! It is time for a new release over at Power Poppy! Today we have Boutiful Bouquet!

I took on my standard approach to all of Marcella’s wonderful florals! I printed this out on 140lbs hotpress watercolour paper and went at it with my paints. Focusing all the bright colours on the background. I was really feeling fall for this card. I kept the florats themselves fairly soft and delicate.

Inspire Me Monday – Washy Watercolour

Hey everyone! I am here today, hopefully to help inspire your creative week, using an awesome floral image from Power Poppy!

I am all about floral cards, in ever medium ever!! Today I have a video with some super soft watercolour on the Bubbles and Fizz digital stamp!

PP Bubble and FIzz

I really love this image, I chose to print the lightened version of the stamp and use some light washy watercolours. I really love the way this card came out. In my usual style I blew up the image to fit the front of a card and added the sentiment that comes along with it!

I have always loved how washy watercolours work so well with florals, you don’t have to worry about picking every little detail to come out with a super lovely card front!
