World of Wonder

Hey everyone! Today I have a card for you featuring Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!

KKS 1.jpg

I coloured up this image from the World of Wonder set, unfortunately I believe this set is now retired as it was in rubber and Kimmie is now making fantastic clear stamps! You may be able to find it at some retailers, but I am not sure. I coloured this image a while ago and do not have the book that the copic’s used would have been.

kks-2

I still am on that use it up kick and this is an older collection from Simple Stories, the button comes from the dollarama here in Canada, and the string I believe I picked up at Peavee Mart one day while buying a Gas Can (do not judge I could not leave that colour behind)! I used the Nuvo Crystal drops in Gloss White, and Carnation Pink to add the dots on the card and finish it off.

I would like to enter this card into the Weekly Saturday challenge at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps.

Wine Winny

Hey everyone! Today I am here featuring a wonderful image from the Angels Hearts and Memories shop!

I coloured up Wine Winny with my copic markers. This one was quite an undertaking as I created the entire background with only the markers nothing was sketched out in advance with pencil. It was so much fun!

I am still on that use it up kick and still have a small hoard of the ancient Cashmere Dame paper that I used on this card. A small bit of twine and the sentiment that comes with the digital stamp finished off the front!

I know my etsy store is a little sparce at the moment, BUT I will be putting up a ton of cards Thursday night and will be running a Black Friday sale (probably all weekend because why not!?!) so if you have ever wanted to have a card of mine that will be the time to get one!

Molly Floats

Hey everyone! Today I am featuring a wonderful image by Tiddly Inks!

Tiddly Inks Molly Floats 1.jpg

I have loved the Molly series of images sense Christy first introduced them to us!

I coloured Molly Floats up with my copic markers! And there is a video for you!

I am still, of course, like I have been all year trying to use up my paper, it is a slow process and is not happening very fast. After a full year of it, you would never know I have used any ha ha! But I did not cut into a new piece of patterned paper for this card so that was an accomplishment!

The sentiment comes from Simon Says Stamp Birthday Balloons Set. Just a little bit of twine and the card was complete!

Pear Tree Partridge

Hey everyone, today I am back with another card for LDRS Creative!

It is not very often that I make a card without an image on it, but when this die got in my hands it just had to be a stand alone focus, at least the first time I use it!

Peartree 1.jpg

I cut the Pear Tree Partridge die out of 110lbs cardstock, a few time and glued them all together so that the die cut felt like a piece of cardstock.

Pear Tree 2.jpg

I then embossed the image with platinum embossing powder, and adhered it onto a piece of black glitter paper added a ribbon and a ribbon slider and called it done!

Cat Lady Kaylee

Hey everyone! Today I am here with a card for Quick Creations!

cat-lady-kaylee-1

I coloured up Cat Lady Kaylee from Some Odd Girl using my copic markers. (sorry but I coloured here while I was working night shift and didn’t write down the colours I used). I then layered up some of the pattern paper from Doodlebug Kitten Smitten paper pad, seriously in love with this paper! Adding a few of the Matt Sprinkles from the same line and a little string from my stash completed the front of this card.

Snowies

Hey everyone, today I have a card featuring C.C. Designs products!

Snowies 1.jpg

I coloured up this jem from Roberto’s Rascals Snowies set. There are 4 fantastic images in this set and I will have to colour up the other 3 very soon!

I used the Layering Tag dies to cut the background for the character, then I cut the Birch tree dies out of masking paper, then I used my distress inks to create the little scene for him.

Chickadee in Barberry

Hey everyone, today I have a watercoloured card using Power Poppy’s Chicadee in Barberry Digital Stamp. I painted it on Fabriano Artistico 140lbs Hotpress Watercolour paper with my Schmicke watercolours.

Chickadee 1.jpg

I really enjoyed the ease of painting this image, it created a card so easy with just the painting and popping it up onto a card base. Marcella’s art is so fantastic!

chickadee-2

I ruffed up the edges of the watercolour paper and called it a card. I really am going to have to paint this one again.

Tabitha

Hey everyone! Today I have another card to share with you all for LDRS Creative.

Dollhouse Tabitha.jpg

I stamped Tabitha from the Dollhouse collection onto Fabriano Artistico 140lbs hotpress watercolour paper with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I then painted this image with my Derwent Inktense Pencils, I lightly added the colour with the pencil then blended it out with a Silver Black Velvet Round 6 watercolour brush. I stamped the sentiment from the Just Because Sentiment Set and added a little bit of mint twine. Popped the card front up on the base and called it finished.
