Chin Up Buttercup

There are lots of things that I don’t post here, that are posted over on My Instagram. If you aren’t following me there, you should!

But today, I am sharing a just because card here, on my blog. Which, I should do more often. I am going to try and get better at that. Enough with the rambling, on with card!!!

I pulled out the Chin Up Buttercup stamp from Honey Bee (all links are at the bottom of this blog post). That I have had in my stash for along time now and have not use.

I stamped and masked out to create a cluster of buttercups. Then Distress Oxides blended together to create the background. My favorite part is always pulling the masks off and seeing the white images that I am going to bring to life.

I coloured them bright yellow and love how this card came out in the end! I always have fun when I get to make floral cards!

The Greeting Farm – February New Release Hop

It’s the 15th, and the FEBRUARY RELEASE is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store!
Our first set, PANDA PLANS features the most adorable, chubby pandas ever. They are perfect for scene cards or for your planner pages. Next, we have I HEART YOU ANYA. She has gorgeous, flowing hair and would make the most beautiful Birthday or Mother’s Day card. Our last set called IT’S YOUR BIRTHDAY showcases some adorable birthday girls along with the most delicious macarons.

I started by copic colouring up the images from the It’s Your Birthday set and cut them out with their coordinating dies. After that, it was as simple as blending some Distress Oxide inks and embossing the large sentiment from the set!

The first set for February that we are sharing with you is called CUDDLES THE PUPPY and is from our brand new artist, Neda Sadreddin! It pairs so wonderfully with the new Pawprints stencil!

I inked the Stencil using Purple Petunia, Mermaid Melody and the new Charming Chartreuse ink, to create the fun rainbow prints in the background!

I love how he is peeking in from the side, and the stark white background allows them to appear as though they are floating. I always wanted to float as a child, not necessarily fly, but float. Yes, I was an odd kid.

MFT & Friends October Release

Hey all! I am super excited to be doing some guest work with My Favorite Things today! Seriously I screamed when I got the email, working for this company has been a dream for so long and today it has become a reality! I am so honoured to be guesting for them, fingers crossed I will get to do it again one day lol!

I am super thrilled to be sharing some more inspiration using their October release, as per usual this release was the bomb!

This Pure Innocence image is ever so sweet with all her little packages, she needed to be the focus on a card for sure! I loved the embossing, inking and copic colourin all together.
