The Greeting Farm – January Preview Day 1

Hey everyone! I am back with the first set of previews for the 2018 year at The Greeting Farm!

The first set we have is called Mini-Remix Balloons and is absolutely adorable!

I coloured the whole set up with my copic markers and then created this background using distress inks and water. I love the adorable word balloons they are carrying!

Hey all! Today I have a fun card made using MFT Stamps Space Explorer stamp set! I have been loving this set, well actually my son keeps pulling it out asking me to make cards with it. ha ha.

I had coloured these guys up while I was without a computer, and then Kevin was so kind as to replace it for me for Christmas. So now I am back to making videos. I have started by doing just a process of this card without the colouring. Hope you don’t mind that there is no colouring in this one, I need to get these images onto cards!

Toucan Party

Hey everyone! I am absolutely honoured to be guest designing for Newton’s Nook for the month of January! I can’t wait to share all my projects with you all! But for today I have a party  card, considering its New Years day and lots of people celebrate it, I figured it was super fitting!

So I pulled out the Toucan Party set for this little gem!

I created the background with Distress Inks, Broken China, Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch. Then added my little Toucans on top. The sentiment was embossed with white embossing powder on black paper, just a few enamel dots from deep in my stash finished off the front of this card.

Wintertime

Hey everyone! Today I am back with a super fun card featuring C.C. Designs Rubber Stamps!

I used the December release Wintertime, and Winter Scene to make this fun little scene card!

I stamped and masked off all of the images and created the background with distress inks, then coloured up all of the images with my copic markers. I added some white highlights to the images and called this little gem finished… I forgot to leave a place for a sentiment, OOPS! But I stamped it inside to finish the card!

Jawsome!

Hey everyone! Today I hve a fun card to share with you featuring Craftin Desert Diva’s – Jawesome!

I created some wave stencils using some dies from my stash and distress ink, the clouds were created with the small cloud stencil from My Favorite Things and distress ink.

I coloured up the shark with m copic markers then fussy cut it out. Popping it up on a top and a little twine and called this card done!

Unfortunately I lost the page that has the markers I used written on it.

Hey all! It is Saturday and that means it’s time for another challenge at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps! This week our challenge is to create a Christmas card!

I mixed the Whimsical Gnomes and Reindeer Games sets together to create this fun little scene! I  masked and stamped them all out. Then created the background with my distress inks!

Coffee Monster

Hey all! Today I have a fun card featuring Gerda Steiner Designs Coffee Monsters. I think this is my first time using any images from them, although I do have the unicorn set in my stash that I really need to ink up.

The stripe of colour on the card base was created using Picked Raspberry Distress Ink and Wilted Violet Distress ink.

This is second card I have created with my Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers, that I am actually happy with the outcome of!

Colours Used:
Teal – Light Blue, Turquoise Green, Persian Green
Purple – Lilac, Light Violet, Purple, Deep Violet
Grey/pink – Tea Rose, Light Gray, Medium Gray

Hey everyone! It is Wednesday, and that means it’s time for another Wonder Wednesday, anything goes, challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!

I chose to colour up Bootyliscious (unfortunately she is currently out of stock but will be back soon). I really tried to replace this card and use it one it was back. But I got bogged down with a Migraine which didn’t allow that to happen.

First I cut a mask of this stamp on masking paper, it took forever but its always so awesome once its done! Then I used distress inks to create the background, splashing a little water on it.  I coloured up the image with my copic makers, then taking my watercolours I added some more deeper shadows to the image. Once all of that one done and good and dry I took a black pen and added in the hardwood floor lines.

We want EVERYONE to be able to play along so your submission can use ANY stamp and can be any theme, any style, any design and it can be a card, a scrapbook page, an altered item….you name it!! It must be a NEW creation and you can enter on this post until November 28th at midnight! At the end of the month one random winner will be chosen from all the submissions for the whole month and will receive a $20 Gift Card to the shop!!! What do you think…..wanna WIN?? Happy Hedgehogs

Hey everyone! Today I have a nice one layer card to share with you all! I used My Favorite Things- Happy Hedgehogs!

I started by creating masks of all the stamps I wanted on my little scene here. Then stamping and masking them out. I then took a whole bunch of different Distress Inks and created the background. One the inking was done I splashed a bunch of water all over, larger dots of water on the top and smaller on the bottom.

After pulling up masks and colouring up all of the images with my copic markers. I pulled out Green Apatite Genuine, French Ultramarine, and Lunar Black watercolours to add some more interest in the background. Finishing off the card with my White gel pen.

I coloured all these fantastic little characters with my copic markers. I love them all so much! This moose really is the highlight for me. I then fussy cut out these little scene and layered it on an ink blended background.
