Angie

Hey everyone, it is Saturday, and that means time for a new challenge over on the Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Blog.

This weeks challenge theme is Stencils, so pull out those stencils in your stash, and your image of choice and play along with us!

Kraftin Kimmie Stamps - Angie - Jessie Banks

I chose to colour up Angie, I swear she is me! I fussy cut her out of masking paper to create a mask, so that I could make a one layer card with her. If you have the ambition to cut a mask of an Annie stamp, just know I feel your pain. Once I had her masked I used a stencil to create the “wallpaper” behind her, as well as the carpet she is standing on.

Once that was done I coloured Angie up with my copic markers, I added some white gel pen and black coloured pencil to enhance her a little bit more!

We always enjoy your creations so be sure to submit them so you can have a chance to WIN a $20 gift card to the Shop!! Show us your stuff!! In keeping in line with the rest of our challenges (Wonderful Wednesday and our NEW Krafty Scrappy Challenge), we will be drawing one winner per month from all Saturday Challenge entries to win a $20 gift card!! You can enter as many times per month as you’d like!!

Thanks for stopping by,

Kraftin Kimmie Stamps - My Best Friends are Witches - Jessie Banks.jpg

I had posted a question in the Kraftin Kimmie Facebook group wondering what I should colour. Keersten answered me with “Something witchy, but non traditional colours” So here she is from the My Best Friends are Witches stamp set. I created the background with my distress inks then coloured her up with my copic makers. The sentiment came from another witch stamp set!

Let’s Fiesta!

Hey everyone! Today I have a fun card to share with you all featuring SugarPea Designs Let’s Fiesta stamp!

Sugar Pea Designs - Lets Fiesta - Jessie Banks.jpg

I have been loving building scenes with lots of masking, so first I cut out the masks for the 3 images I put on the card. I then stamped and masked them all out so I could create the sunset with my distress inks. I coloured up the images with my copic makers, then enhanced with a little black coloured pencil. I then splashed a little water on the backgroud to add a bit more interest.

Up in the Air

Hey all! Today I have a card just for fun! I created this one layer card featuring My Favorite Things Up in the Air, and My Favorite Things Ewe are the Best.

My Favotire things - Up in the Air - 1- Jessie Banks.jpg

I created masks for all these little stamps using masking paper. Which allowed me to create the background with distress inks, I created a cloud stencil by stamping the clouds touching and fussy cutting them out. After, I coloured all of the images up with my copic markers. I then enhanced the background with a little bit of watercolours and the images with a black coloured pencil and a white gel pen.

Hey everyone! Welcome to another challenge for Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps! The theme this week is Distress Inks, and boy do I love my inks, both the original ones and the new oxide ones!

Krafti Kimmie stamps - Sandy Toes- Jessie Banks

I started by colouring up this sweetie from Sandy Toes, with my copic markers ad then fussy cut her out! I created the background with a stencil and three of the new Distress oxides, Peacock feathers, Twisted citron, and Picked raspberries. I then stamped the sentiment (from the same set) on top of it all popped the image up and there is my card!

Now pull out your Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps, make yourself a fun little project using your distress inks and let us see what you create! Make sure you put your entries over on the KKS Blog!
