Power Poppy Emboss Resit plus video

Hey everyone! Long time no see! I am back with you all today, and to ease back into floral videos for you all, I decided to keep things pretty simple with a little emboss resist technique using Poppy XL.

I of course have a video of this soft watercoloured card for you all as well!

 

I had a ton of fun playing with this stamp set and the handmade watercolours. The soft splashy look of this card really makes me happy I love watching colours move around!

Hey all! It is time for a new release over at Power Poppy! Today we have Boutiful Bouquet!

I took on my standard approach to all of Marcella’s wonderful florals! I printed this out on 140lbs hotpress watercolour paper and went at it with my paints. Focusing all the bright colours on the background. I was really feeling fall for this card. I kept the florats themselves fairly soft and delicate.

I coloured mind up with my copic markers, keeping the colours super bright and vivid! Then cutting it out and adding it to a watercolour background! Becuase, honestly, I dropped a marker on the paper while colouring the image. The Define Good sentiment was too funny not to be put on the card!

Hey all! Today we have Brew It Anya to share with you all! I love coffee, and coffee themed anything!

The Greeting Farm - Brew it Anya

First, I coloured up this gorgeous Anya in the no lines style with my copic markers. Then game the background. I started by wanting just a splashy background. So I did that then went to bed for the night, when I looked at it in the morning it needed something, COFFEE RINGS! So I free handed them onto the splashy background with my watercolours, a few splatters of paint and this card was complete!

Hey all! Today, the project is super simple. I stamped the image and watercoloured a spashy background. I made a bunch of these with all the kids names that will be at our Canadian Thanksgiving, they will have pencils on their table a little something for them to colour. I can not wait to see what they all look like when they are done!

I coloured up the sweet little image with my copic markers, then watercoloured just a soft splashy background. Which, is my go to background for the last while. I really just love the way they allow images to pop. Adding a sentiment with some old thickers out of my stash finished off the front of this card.
