Birthday Chicks

Hey all! Day 5 of Kathy Racoosin’s 30 day colouring challenge. Today I am back with another My Favorite Things card!

I coloured the little birds up with my copic makers in a no lines style. I then created the background with distress oxide and die cut out the Wish die a few times out of white and then out of the background to create an eclipse card.

Treena Twinkles

Hey everyone! It is time for  a new challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Blog, this week is my turn to host the challenge and the theme is MERMAIDS!

 I love colouring mermaids, tails are always so fun and they can be any colour your little heart desires! I coloured upTreena Twinkles for today’s card. Remember once these Annie images are gone they are retired, so if you don’t have her yet you should pick her up!

I coloured her up with my copic markers, and then created a splashy watercolour background for her to sit on, after I fussy cut her out! I love created these cards where the image has tons of the detail and the backgrounds and loose and suggestive of what it is suppose to be.

Pull out your markers, and your mermaid stamps and play along!

The Greeting Farm May Release BLOG HOP!

It’s the 15th, and that means the new MAY Stamps are NOW available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store. Our first set, BEACH BUMS, has all the elements to create a relaxing pool or beach-side scene. Next, we introduced a cute jellyfish, adorable octopus, and fabulous squid in the HANDS DOWN set. With summer right around the corner, we couldn’t forget about camping and s’mores in the S’MORE FUN set. And finally, the HAPPY TO SEA YOU set showcased more sea fun with an awesome shark and whale, along with additional sea creatures.

To celebrate we are having a BLOG HOP, where one lucky fan will take home all 4 sets!! Pretty AMAZING! Be sure to leave a comment on each designer’s blog, and then head back to The Greeting Farm Blog to let us know you completed the hop. Easy Peasy!

For my card, I used the S’MORE FUN stamp set. The background was created using Distress Inks and Watercolours. The characters and scene elements were coloured with Copic Markers.

I kept this card super simple, I stamped it out with my Memento Desert Sand ink and coloured her up with my copic markers. I love the no lines look of colouring, it is one of my favorite things to do.

So I did my first attempt at cross stitching on a card for this one, it’s not perfect, but I think it turned out super cute. I coloured up the little boy and his fire and popped him up on top!
