Beary Big Hugs

Hey everyone, today I have a card featuring Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps.

I layered up a few stamps from the Beary Big Hugs stamp set and painted it with my watercolours, I have been working with a new watercolour paper and will have a review of a bunch of different papers to share with you hopefully in a week or so.

KKS Bears.jpg.

I painted the little bear up using my Schmincke and Daniel Smith watercolours. I think it came out darling, not so sure about the paper I used as the background didn’t blend the way I intended it to, but that is the nature of watercolours. You can only control them so much! all in all I am very happy with the way this card turned out.

World of Wonder

Hey everyone! Today I have a card for you featuring Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!

KKS 1.jpg

I coloured up this image from the World of Wonder set, unfortunately I believe this set is now retired as it was in rubber and Kimmie is now making fantastic clear stamps! You may be able to find it at some retailers, but I am not sure. I coloured this image a while ago and do not have the book that the copic’s used would have been.

kks-2

I still am on that use it up kick and this is an older collection from Simple Stories, the button comes from the dollarama here in Canada, and the string I believe I picked up at Peavee Mart one day while buying a Gas Can (do not judge I could not leave that colour behind)! I used the Nuvo Crystal drops in Gloss White, and Carnation Pink to add the dots on the card and finish it off.

kks-3

I would like to enter this card into the Weekly Saturday challenge at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps.

Witch Willa

Hey everyone, I am back again with a card for Quick Creations. I have coloured up Kraftin’ Kimmies, Witch Willa with my copic markers.

kks witch wanda.jpg

When colouring this darling image up, I tried something a bit different for me, and used my W7, and W5 markers to add some really deep shadows to the image instead of going in after with my coloured pencils. I really enjoy the effect it gave adding those colours before going in with the colour I wanted that actually are to be.

I finished off card by placing it on a couple pieces of Echo Park – Magical Adventures – Dots and Stripes paper and calling it good. I haven’t been doing much in the way of simple cards lately and I love this one, especially since I made 10 of them for in with the treat bags for my sons class for Halloween.
